The Waterfront at Gloucester Quays is a residential development in a prime position on the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal in the centre of Gloucester. The mix of units combine contemporary homes and apartments, alongside sought-after parking and secure cycle storage. The Waterfront apartments reflect the industrial heritage of the site, creating the look of warehouses lining the water’s edge.
Fairhurst were commissioned by Crest Nicholson to provide civil support for their 4-phase housing development. This included infrastructure and drainage. Onsite carriageways were of a non-standard design as requested by the local planning authority to provide a homezone environment and the drainage was designed to discharge all surface water into the canal to top up its low water levels.
